RECORDING YOUR RESULTS

The analysis results you obtain are important and valuable, not just today or tomorrow, but quite possibly, a year or more from now. They should be recorded either in a notebook or maybe stored on a computer. Data should include the date and time and location of sampling, and who made the measurement, and in many cases, the other key parameters of the bath being analysed, e.g its temperature, current density. Bear in mind that no matter how accurate and reliable an analysis is, its real value might lie in linking this to the conditions prevailing at the time the analysis was made.
